An avid angler based in Northern California. Fishing is not just a hobby for me; it’s a passion that runs deep in my veins. Living close to Clear Lake, San Francisco Bay, and pristine rivers in the Sierras, I’m blessed with diverse fishing opportunities.
I started fishing as a child with my father. We would go up to Lake Tahoe and fish for trout in the Truckee River. Eventually, I found bass fishing and started competing in tournaments during the pandemic. I’ve since been able to participate in both kayak and bass boat tournaments at the collegiate level.
I’m all about embracing the outdoors and making memories on the water with family and friends. Fishing truly brings me joy, and I cherish every moment I spend pursuing this incredible sport.

My journey as a competitive kayak angler began in 2015, and I’ve been sharing my love for fishing as a guide since 2020. Living in the heart of Tennessee provides me with boundless opportunities to explore and enjoy numerous lakes, rivers, and streams for both fishing and recreation.

Every year, my goal has been to secure a spot in the Hobie Bass Open Series – Tournament of Champions, an event that has been the pinnacle of kayak fishing tournaments for several years now. My passion for fishing is unwavering, and I find great joy in imparting my knowledge to others, teaching them the art of fishing. Above all, spending time on the water brings me immense fulfillment, making it a true source of happiness in my life.

Hey Folks, I am currently 28 years old and work as a Firefighter. On the road from the Yak for 4 years. In addition to my main waters in the Netherlands where I prefer to fish for Perch, I drive whenever I can to Italy, Spain and France to fishing for Black Bass. Fishing the tournament now excites me the most and getting around for it is simply the best. See you on the water 👊🏻

I hail from San Antonio, Texas, but it often feels like I was meant to be born on an island or somewhere closer to the water. Nearly every weekend, you’ll find me exploring the Texas coast in search of that next exciting catch or simply relishing the beauty of the outdoors, even when the fish aren’t as cooperative. Whether it’s a journey miles down the beach for an offshore fishing adventure or a trip inland to enjoy the crystal-clear waters, my wife and daughter love to join me in these escapades. They’re such avid enthusiasts that they even accompany me to Florida for kayak tournaments.

In my neck of the woods, the primary species we target include red drum, speckled trout, and flounder. It’s hard to beat the thrill of tangling with a robust red drum year-round, but during the winter months, the larger trout provide quite the challenge.

My love for fishing was instilled in me at a very young age, raised in South Carolina by parents that embraced the outdoor lifestyle. It was not until 2016 that I began kayak fishing after receiving a Hobie Outback as an engagement present from my husband. Together, we began traveling cross country and fishing alongside each other when my husband’s duty with the US Coast Guard permitted travel.  Needing to channel my passion for fishing and recognizing the need for greater representation and support for women in the sport, I co-founded Women’s Fishing Federation alongside Kristine Fischer and Mel Isaacs. This federation serves as a platform for educating and empowering women in the world of fishing.

I hail from the heart of the Pacific Northwest, where the fusion of saltwater and freshwater offers an abundance of year-round fishing opportunities. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have access to a diverse array of fisheries that remain open throughout every season. My annual fishing expeditions invariably commence with the pursuit of winter steelhead, a species I hold in the highest esteem. If I were compelled to choose just one fish to pursue for the rest of my life, it would unquestionably be the elusive winter steelhead.

Motivated by the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to savor the joys that fishing brings, I take it upon myself to organize and lead exclusive fishing trips designed specifically for women.

Fishing is not just a pastime for me; it’s an integral part of my life’s fabric.

My journey in the world of fishing commenced at the tender age of 5, side by side with my father. For many years, I immersed myself in the realm of coarse fishing, casting lines in freshwater lakes and the open sea. However, approximately 8 years ago, my life took an exciting turn when I discovered the art of spinning and developed an intense fascination with lures. What started as a hobby soon evolved into an all-consuming passion.

Around 6 years ago, I embarked on a new adventure in Kayak Fishing. I initially navigated lakes with a paddle kayak and eventually ventured into the open sea. While my journey began with a paddle kayak, I later ventured into the world of Hobie Kayaks. My first love was the Hobie Compass model, however, when the Hobie Mirage Lynx made its debut, I couldn’t resist the allure of its agility, lightweight design, and impressive speed.

My lifelong journey as an angler began at a very young age, casting lines alongside my grandfather and father in a wide array of aquatic environments, from the vast oceans to tranquil rivers, serene lakes to babbling streams, meandering creeks to even the inviting ponds found on golf courses.

For over 12 years now, I’ve been deeply immersed in the world of kayak fishing, owning a diverse collection of more than a dozen kayaks, with the most recent seven being of the renowned Hobie brand. My passion for water sports and ocean activities extends beyond just fishing, and in addition to my active dedication to and enjoyment of kayak fishing, I take immense satisfaction in helping others discover and embrace the profound love for this pursuit.

Furthermore, I’m a staunch advocate for our nation’s Heroes, and I proudly serve as the Event Coordinator for the Central California Chapter of Heroes on the Water, a prominent national non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide veterans, first responders, and their families with the opportunity to experience the therapeutic and rejuvenating aspects of kayak fishing, all at no cost to them.

I’m a native of Northwest Georgia, born and raised, with a lifelong passion for fishing. I’m not only a dedicated angler but also a loving husband and a father to two boys, aged 6 and 4.

During my teenage and twenties years, I immersed myself in the thrilling world of paddling whitewater kayaks on various rivers. However, in 2014, I embarked on a new adventure by purchasing my first fishing kayak, seamlessly combining my two passions: kayaking and fishing. The following year, in 2015, I took my angling to the next level by participating in bass tournaments from my kayak.

Fast forward nine years, and I’m actively engaged in the kayak fishing scene, participating in 8-10 events annually across both local and national circuits. My journey has seen some local tournament success, particularly with Reel Krazy and Peach State Kayak Anglers. Moreover, I’ve had the honor of achieving favorable results in national-level competitions on renowned bodies of water such as Chickamauga, Guntersville, and Lake Hartwell. A notable highlight was securing my first national paycheck in the 2021 Hobie BOS on Lake Hartwell. More recently, I clinched a victory in the Georgia BASS Nation and secured a top-five finish in the 2023 Bassmaster Kayak Series.
