I hail from Northeastern PA, just south of Scranton and my kayak fishing journey began in 2017. However, it wasn’t until 2020 that I delved into kayak fishing tournaments, thanks to a friend who introduced me to the Hobie Bass Open Series on the Susquehanna River. Given that the Susquehanna River practically flows in my backyard, I couldn’t resist the allure of participating in the tournament. From that moment on, I was completely hooked.

Kayak fishing has allowed me to hone my angling skills, explore different regions of the country, and forge incredible connections with fellow enthusiasts along the way. It’s truly surreal to think that I stumbled upon such an incredible sport and community.
