I was born and raised in Eastern Michigan, where I developed a passion for tournament fishing in the Detroit River and Lake Erie. Afterward, I pursued a collegiate rowing career and earned an engineering degree. Currently, I hold the position of Midwest Regional Sales Manager at a company specializing in process analyzer sample systems. When I’m not out on the water, I cherish quality time with my family: my daughter, Harlyn, my son, Andy, and my wife, Ashley.

Throughout the years, I’ve actively competed in fishing tournaments at the local, regional, national, and even the prestigious Hobie Fishing World Championship levels. In addition to my competitive endeavors, I had the honor of founding the Michigan Kayak Trail, and I’ve proudly been a member of the Hobie Fishing Team since 2015.
